Andrea Barrera signed her commitment to The Masters University to join them and continue her education and athletic career in Fall 2024.

Barrera, a captain for the Hawks, earned her way to the top of UCC's record books and NWAC standings. Among her achievements, she ended the 2023 season ranked in the top 50 athletes in 6/15 statistical categories. For a full list of accolades, please see below.

The Masters University is an NAIA school located in Santa Clarita, CA. They compete in the Golden State Athletics Conference (GSAC). Last season the Mustangs ended their season 18-12, finishing 4th in the Golden State Athletics Conference. Previous post-season accolades include: 2023 GSAC Championship Tournament 2nd round finish, 2022 GSAC Championship Tournament 1st round finish, 2019 GSAC Championship Tournament 1st round finish, 2018 GSAC Champions, 2017 GSAC Championship Tournament 1st round finish, and a 1st place finish in GSAC in 2012.

Coach Roberts comments, "Andrea has grown so much with this program and she has done great things with her time at UCC. Coming back from an injury to earn many accolades and break a few UCC records in the 2023 season is a feat that Andrea knew she could accomplish. We are so grateful Andrea chose to be a RiverHawk and we are very proud to be a part of her journey. She will do great things in her future."
