Umpqua Community College competed in a time trial on Friday morning. Leading the way for the RiverHawk men were sophomores Attreyu Pinard (SO, Roseburg, OR) and Noah Retherford (SO, Windfall, IN). Freshmen Connor Deveny (Yakama, WA) and Paul Cervantes (Sutherlin, OR). UCC Alumni Tyler Lindsey crossed the finish line in 5th place followed by Kevin Reece (FR, Oakland, OR)

The women were led by freshman Bailey Wallack (Coos Bay, OR) in a time of 23:32, and followed by sophomores Kristen Thomas (Blackfoot, ID) and Mariah Summers (Sutherlin, OR). Freshmen Emma-Kate Crouse (Oakland, OR), Nicole Forristall (Roseburg, OR), and Dawn Cobb (Oakland, OR) rounded out the squad. 

Next Thursday, the RiverHawks will compete for the first time this season at the Lewis & Clark Opener. The race will be held at the Lake Oswego golf course. Races start with the men competing a four mile at 6:45pm. The women will chase the men in a three mile race shortly after at 6:46:30.
