Stotler Leads RiverHawks to Road Win

Freshman post player Jordan Stotler (Roseburg HS), led the Umpqua RiverHawks to a 98-85 road victory over the Lakers of Southwestern Oregon Community College. Stotler lead the Hawks with 32 points. She also chipped in with 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocked shots.

The first three quarters of the game were tightly contested, as Umpqua only led 75-68 going into the final quarter. The fourth quarter would provide the RiverHawks with an opportunity to widen the lead, as they out-scored the Lakers 23-17, to settle into the final margin.

The RiverHawks had four other player in double figures as Dajanay Powell had 19 points, Bria Thames 15, Jacque Luaders 13, and Tasia Bilbrew finished with 11 points. Thames was the leading rebounder for Umpqua with 13 rebounds.

With the victory Umpqua moves to 18-2 on the season and 7-0 in Southern Region play.
