RiverHawks Start Strong

The Umpqua RiverHawk women's basketball team jumped out to a 29-7 lead versus the Roadrunners of Linn-Benton Community College and never looked back, cruising to a 94-53 victory.  The RiverHawks had four players score in double figures, led by freshman, Dajanay Powell who netted 24 points in just 22 minutes of play. The freshman post player went 12-16 from the floor and finished with 9 rebounds. Jordan Stotler had 15 points, followed by Tasia Bilbrew with 13, and Bria Thames with 12. Every player scored for the RiverHawks in the victory.

With the win, the RiverHawks move to 21-2 and 10-0 in Southern Region play.
