REDDING, Calif. – The Umpqua Community College women's wrestling team made its season debut with a 38-4 dual victory against Life Pacific (Calif.) and a 24-16 exhibition loss to regional rival Southern Oregon University, on Saturday in the Oregon-California Duals at Foothill High School. For the RiverHawks, Esthela Trevino won by tech fall at 101lbs, along with tech fall wins by Tayah Basped at 137lbs (12-1) and Sarah Conner at 130 lbs. (10-0).
The RiverHawks are back in action when they travel to the Mike Clock Open on Nov. 10th.
