Two California Athletes to Join RiverHawk Women's Wrestling

The Umpqua Community College Women's Wrestling program is excited to announce the signing of two California High School wrestlers for the 2018-19 season.

Sienna Lejeune is a Top 12 California State Tournament placer, a SJS Regional Champion and a SJS Masters Runner-up. Lejeune is from Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, California. Her Elk Grove team was also Runner-up in the SJS Masters Tournament.

Bressly Aleman is the winner of the Kern County All-Star Dual Meet and a member of Golden Valley High School 3x Runner-up in the Kern County Championships, losing to perennial powerhouse, Selma High School. Aleman also played soccer at Golden Valley and lives in Bakersfield, California.

Head Coach Asia DeWeese had this to say about the signing of the two California prep athletes, "These two wrestlers are accomplished and experienced at a high level. They are competitive and will be very big assets to our program. We are thrilled to add them to an already deep recruiting class."
