Umpqua Community College Women's Wrestling is excited to announce the signing of Avea Lefotu, of Golden Valley High School in Bakersfield, California. Lefotu is a two-time CIF State Qualifier and a two-time Central Section Girls Wrestling Masters Champion. Lefotu also was chosen to participate in the Kern County All-Star Dual Meet.

She joins her Golden Valley Teammates, Bressly Aleman and Monica Chavez in the incoming 2018 recruiting class.

Head Women's Wrestling Coach Asia DeWeese had this to say about the signing of Lefotu,"Avea is a skilled athlete who has a very big upside as her collegiate career begins. She is strong and works very hard. We are very fortunate to have her join our outstanding incoming class."
