Umpqua Community College Women's Wrestling is announcing the signing of Ahleah Harris, from Applegate, Oregon, for the 2018-19 season. Harris is an 8-time gold medalist in Jiu Jitsu, having competed in the women's division as a junior. She has participated in Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Karate for a number of years and held the Oregon Sub-League Women's #1 ranking as a grappler for 2 years.

Head Wrestling Coach Asia DeWeese had this to say about the signing of Harris,"Ahleah is a very hard worker who is game for competition. Her Judo and Jiu Jitsu experience will aid her in her transition into free-style wrestling. We are looking forward to her being a part of our program."
