After last week's performance at the LCC Open, Isaac Heard was named NWAC Field Athlete of the Week. Isaac threw a lifetime best at the LCC Open in a stacked javelin competition. His throw of 55.00m/180'5" placed him 8th overall. He was the top freshman in the competition. His mark also qualified him for the NWAC championships and currently ranks him #2 in the conference behind teammate Colby Neron.
