Cabrera-Gay threw a huge personal best in the men's javelin at the OSU PNW Invitational. He bested the field as the only athlete over 70 meters with a throw of 70.78 meters. The field included athletes of all divisions (NWAC, NCAA D1, D2, NAIA). His marks leads that NWAC which would rank No. 7 in NCAA D1 as he continues Umpqua's legacy of standout javelin throwers.

We are proud of Leikel's growth in the event so far, and look forward to see how he progresses throughout the rest of the season and his career.
