RiverHawk Track and Field has signed Oliver Wear from Warwick, England to throw javelin. Ollie attended Alcester Grammer School in England, then went on to Mount Mercy University for the 2023 season. He has taken this current season off, but will return to the US to compete for UCC. While at MMU, Ollie threw a best of 58.28m/191-2ft and finished 30th at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He also finished 9th in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC). Ollie shows to be quite the talented and dynamic athlete, as he also competed in the long jump and high jmup at MMU.

We look forward to bringing Ollie in to our unofficial JavTown, USA next year and building on to our javelin crew.
