Congratulations to Daniel Gee! He has officially signed to Southern Utah University to continue his academic and athletic careers!

If you know Daniel, you would know today is the best day of his life! ...and tomorrow will be even better! He's been a one of a kind student-athlete in our program, and we can't wait to see him continue his progress. Daniel is the Decathlon NWAC Champion, All-American, and school record holder with 6,084 points. He's earned All-Conference honors 5x in the last two years between the pole vault, decathlon, high jump, and 4x400m relay. He helped set the 4x400m relay school record at the NWAC Championships. Daniel is also the 2024 South Region Pole Vault Champion, where he cleared his PR of 4.93m/16-2ft, and was on the winning 4x400m relay team. He also earned All-South Region honors in pole vault in 2023. The NWAC has twice named Daniel the Baden Track and Field Athlete of the Week.

Amongst the team Daniel held the most volunteer hours, he maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA, and was the 2023 Most Improved Athlete. Daniel is THE Champion in the Community, Champion in the Classroom, and Champion in Competition. We couldn't be more excited for Daniel's future as a Thunderbird at Southern Utah. They got a good one!
