Ellie Huffman from Bonanza High School in Oregon has signed to RiverHawk Track and Field to join the program in the vertical jumps.

Ellie is a 5x State placer amongst OSAA 1A schools. In 2024 she took 3rd in pole vault and 8th in high jump. She has personal bests of 9'1" in pole vault and 4'10" in high jump. In 2023 she placed 4th in pole vault and 8th in high jump. In 2022 she placed 5th in pole vault and 8th in high jump when the school was in the 2A class. She also qualified and competed at state 5 other times, narrowly missing the podium spots in the 800m, 4x100m relay, and 4x400m relay. Ellie has a slight connection to UCC as her cousin Madelyn Sharp has competed for the RiverHawks the last 2 years as an All-Conference javelin thrower. We are very excited to have Ellie join our team as an enthusiastic athlete with a great work ethic!
